Thanks Yelo, I don't mind keeping the 5.3 intake because it has my 42lbs injectors in it and i don't won't deal with moving them... Maybe i will do the F.A.S.T. if i feel like i want something better...???

Thanks for the good luck Charged, it's gonna be fun when its done, that i am sure!

Time to start my list of any other parts i want to do while i have the motor out...

it's a Precision Turbo, T-4 on both sides, .61Compressor and .81Turbine...They said it is rated to support up to 780hp... I am not looking for Parish Power, just ***** to the wall but able to drive it everyday... I was think the 12-15lbs of boost range. I know the turbo can produce 18lbs on my 5.3L with out a problem (found out when i had a little trouble with my boost ref point when doing some tuning last year)... If i need a bigger one then i will get a bigger one.

I think 550-600rwhp is an acceptable expectaion with the stroked 402 and 12-15lbs on it.?.?.? Or am i nuts?

402cid, i can get the Eagle Rotating assembley for a good price from a friend with connections... I will probably keep the stock heads and just have them ported out and a new valve train installed, some double springs and such... then a Custom Cam from my friends at Livernois Motor Sports... Put it all back together and go make some Vette's and Corbra's cry!

You should be able to get 550-600 rwhp on 8-10 psi with a 402.

Thats what I hear and I like what i hear!!! I am planning on running at least 10lbs... I would like to run 12-15lbs since my transmission should be fine and i have the fuel system to support it (42lbs Injectors and Walbro intank pump)... I wonder just how much boost the new motor could takew hen its done?
