Exclamation Smoke Problem

Well I started the truck up today, let it idle for a bit than noticed that my truck was burning oil I checked for leaks and everything seems to be fine but my oil level is a bit low. I forgot to add that I found a little bit of oil in the tips and tailgate. What do you guys think would cause this? Thanks

Only two ways for oil to get in the exhaust thats valve guides and seals or past the rings,or pcv . Sometimes a plugged pcv will cause it

It's at the shop now getting checked but I would still like some advice I think a 370CI might be in the works if I can get a good deal on pistons and rods. any one have a good place to get them also what gaskets do you guys recommend? I'm looking for 10.1 Comp ration with LS6 heads.

Looks like I need a new oil pump and adding a catch can for safety with LS2 timing chain.

Curios how a bad oil pump causes oil out the tailpipe...doesn't sound right to me.

It was the PCV but I needed to change the oil pump since I never did.
