so, i can't lower my truck with a shackle/hanger set

Default so, i can't lower my truck with a shackle/hanger set

i have the hangers that are under the frame..... so i can't lower it with hangers...... now what do i do? Hotchkiss my only choice? i've decided on the 2/4 drop, that's the look i want.

why would a shackle and hanger kit not work?????? I had one on mine.

in '03 they started using different hangers on some models that bolt directly under the frame... giving no room to go up.

Go with a 4" drop leaf....

IF would probobly ride better than a S/H kit anyway.

it wouldn't ride better but it would handle better.

Yes, a drop leaf is going to be way stiffer than stock. I dont understand the hanger bolting directly under the frame....I have an 03 and its just like the older trucks.....any pics of this new style hanger?

My '04 had the "new style" hangers and I dropped it 4"

I dropped mine with shackles or hangers ... dunno which, but it worked. Bolted right up to the rear of the spring.
