K, I have to put a waterpump in one of my dad's fleet trucks. It shouldn't take too long....good 'ol OBS. Anyway, I give you a call....and I'll bet you a 6pack my wheels are waaaaay dirtier than yours.

id guarantee it. i washed em once in a break we had in the rain. then it rained that day.

well the skid plate, fan shrouds and bumper are off. i decided to change out my altenator while i was at it. put in my 120A one i had laying around.

just gotta wait for the pin kit to get here.

oh.. BTW, i might need to take my fan off too. how does that come off? the 4 bolts on the back of the clutch?

you need a big wrench for the huge nut that goes around the fan (forgot what size) just use a cresent. hit it a couple time with a rubber malet to break it lose. Dont mess with those fours bolts... it will loosen the fan but will not let it come out.

well me and todd did the pinning kit. wasnt to bad.

my truck seems to be a little stiff.

Well I Have Had 5 5.3 And Now A 6.0 I Have Reused Crank Pulley And Never Had A Problem When Reisntalling The Crank Bolt You Need A Good Impac And Hit It A Few Times.

Not a risk worth taking for the 10.00 IMO.

Seriously, I held the bolts side by side yesterday, because I was a little skeptical myself. The used bolt was just that.....used. It was stretched enough to see with the naked eye, and even the flat washer part was smashed thinner. Don't re-use them people!

The pining process went fairly easy though, other than the drill bit issue.
