Which company has the best quality/fitting longtube headers for an '03 p/u? My truck has the 4.8 in it now. I'm wanting to do an o/r y-pipe with a corsa cat-back. How does a 4.8 sound with exhaust? A buddy told me it sounds very similar to a 5.3..which is alright, just as long as their is no v-6 sounds coming from the exhaust. Anyways, price isn't an issue, just not wanting to have to take out a second mortgage...preferrably coated also.

Mine sounds good with a single in/dual out flow. I have it dumped after the axle. People will suggest ASMs and TOGs for LTs.

I would buy the TOG headers again in a heartbeat. I would get them ceramic coated though. There is no ory available for these trucks ....

Why do you want to make it faster ... ?

I put a set of summit truck headers on mine. Fit great a noticed a nice diffrence. Also they only cost 180 shipped.
