I wouldnt put in a 14 bolt. they are very strong rear ends and will be a bolt in swap, but they are just too heavy. a 9" would be the best choice, then maybe a 12 bolt with 9" outers or something.

Toting the front tires is definitely NOT the best thing to do. This car was a friend's 514 cid Mustang. The front end came down, unloaded the rear tires, and the rest is history. BTW, the car had tags/insurance and ran low low 9's at 150+, and although he was running at a no-slip (heads-up) event, he supposedly ran 8.9x back in December.
