how much difference does it make milling heads? i know it ups the compression ratio but what im wondering is if i milled the heads on my 5.3 like .30 how much would that up my compression? like 10.5 to 1? and what kinda power increase would you see out of it? sorry i have been wanting to ask for a while

i was just wondering if i got the heads ported and polished then had them milled to up the compression what kinda power gains i would see... i was figuring maybe 30 hp.... but if i did the heads 90mm intake and u/d pulleys i shoudl see a good power increase i would think

When you intall the decked heads you could always use the thinner head gaskets, should bump your comp up another 1/4 point.
