sometimes there can be pvc clearance depending on the cam even gaskets..... i went with a regular .053 gasket from the chevy dealership, and went from the 7.4 pushrod to the 7.350 rod.... had i done things differently i would have bought some scoggey dickens thin head gaskets for a tad higher compression, a lil more expensive, but worth the extra $$... i have a friend of my mine who has a 5.3 H/C/I ....and took out his already milled 862's to mill em to a whopping .050 !!

wow thats a pretty good time and i take it he isnt havin problems so thats good, im prolly still gonna go with .30 cause my luck is that i would have problems milling it that much, thanks though
