Soft start controller for e-fans?
I'm going to put a set of e-fans back in my truck, but I hate the voltage drop associated with turning the fans on high with the a/c. Has anyone seen any kind of soft start motor controller for a 12v electrical system? I want something that will slowly ramp up voltage to the fans so I can avoid the jolt.

I've been doing some reading online, and I wonder if I could come up with some kind of circuit that uses a startup resistor and a relay that takes several amps of current to charge and close to make sort of a 2-stage startup controller. Anyone good with electronics that can help me out with something like that?
How does a set of factory e-fans work like that? They don't jolt the electrical system when they turn on.

I believe the stock fans have a delay built in to allow the fans to stagger start. This way of operating does not hit the electrical system like 2 fans starting up at the same time. The settings in EFI Live have a field for a delay. But the 05 fans are controled by 2 pin in the PCM instead of just 1. 03+ pcm is needed. At least that is what I have researched.
