SOLD EPS cam and now awaitin FTI cam...
once i agian im going bigger.. old cam 222/226 598 /596 111+2 worked great on 3600 stalll.. but since i got my converter restalled to a 4K this cam stopped pulling up top and i lost efficiency .. so got another custom grind by FTI.. i guess bigger is better lol new cam 227/232 614/598 112+3.. as soon as its in i will post results.. best time with eps cam 8.29@83mph 1/8 and 13.2@101 mph 1/4

If I was you I woulda kept the cam and been looking for heads to help out. This cam is the *****... and the 799's are good, but they leave a lot on the table too. Aren't you close to WCCH? have him give you a mild port job while you're at it to help you on the big end... you're gonna be seeing 7k RPM now.
How long do you think it will be before you're lookin for a 6.0 block and knockin down 12.7's??

Vortec350ss due to the new verter 4k I was only spinning the EPs to 6200 instead of 6600 how I use to on the 3600 verter... this can is specd to spin to 6500... looking for those 12.9s on the 5.3 .... and yea after I'm there I'll b porting the 799s .. and if I want more which I'm sure I will I'll b getting a 6.0 and shooting for low to mid 12s lol

Wow only 6200 with that bigger stall huh? Thats interesting. I guess after shifts you barely lost any RPM so it ddint effect you much anyway. Crazy how the converter effected the top end that much.
Hopefully the new cam doesnt leave you wanting more off the line...
I'm really surprised that 3600 wasnt enough.

Shift extentions on the 4k r only 1k my 60' got better on the 4k and I really doubt I will logos much low end.. can is said to b a 3600-6700 rpm can.. the converter jumps to 4700 on launch and stays above 5200 between shifts... it should b rt in the power band of this cam... the converter was out of the power band of the 222cam up top since it stays so high in the rpm....and to DD its not as bad as people thing it takes 2500-3000 to get me around on the streetsmy 3600 took up to 2500-2700 so its ababout 300-400 rpm looser... plus I just picked up another car so I don't drive the truck as much anymore

Yeap its about 1000 looser on launch then my 3600..now I have traction issues even launching on all 4 tires lol.. working on straps and radials for next time out.. my new can should b in sat
