Default soo, how bad do you guys want to see what the 4.8 can put out?

sweet!! got the $150, thanks everyone. this will be so worth it!!
sweet, got $165 paypal is cobra99vert@aol.com

chevymec..........$10
dkubricht...........$10
zippy(michael?)...$10
Rick@Synergy.....$100 woohoo
01 Silverado........$10
DIEHARDCHEVY....$10
Siemens..............$5
gonzo 6.0...........$10

i have prety much over spent the last year and dont really have cash to throw away. i am seriously inpresed at how the 4.8 is pulling with only moderate boost but it is prety cool out so maybe that is the deal.

i am ok with killing the 4.8 in the name of research but with no tracks open the only place to get numbers is the dyno. if you guys wanted to put together the cash for a couple of hours on the dyno and a little race fuel i would be willing(and having fun) pushing the **** out of the 4.8.

i figure about $150 would get the dyno and gas and my goal would be push it with strait 118octane till i hear/see knock or untill something blows up. there would be graphs of the steps and video.

just for reference i hit the 630rwhp on 105octane with the other motor.

I'll throw in $10.00. I bet it does 650rwhp with 118 and 18-20lbs. of boost. I have confidence in the little guy (the 4.8 motor).

if youve come that far, just take it down here to Houston Raceway - I want to see the 4.8 pull some low 11s

**** do them both if it will hold. the only thing if if it does blow. its a long push back to omaha. i would rather see a fastest 4.8 then just some dyno sheets, just my .02

650rwhp isnt that more then the 6.0 pushed out?

i would love to push it at the track but that isn't going to happen. it's dyno or gtech, dyno nubers hold a little more clout than gtech numbers. the camed 6.0 went to 630rwhp on a dynojet with 105 and was not detonating yet. it would be fun to see what the 4.8 has in it.

we are up to $40. not a bad start.
