Jim, while your at it why dont you see how high you can rev that little stroke 4.8.

See how much the TQ and HP drop off a 8 grand.

Nice I am hopping to trap 135+ in mine by the end of the season though, I have to beat Grandpa's 96'.

looks like this is a go, i have an apointment 2weeks from saturday. here is the plan.

16deg of timing, pump gas, as much boost as it will handle before knock. rev till the power drops off. probably around 6k.

drain fuel, put in strait 118octane(never ran it strait before), put timing at 22deg, CRANK THE BOOST. maybe try a little more timing.

like tex said, the numbers might not be great up top but i bet the mid range numbers kick ***. it must be doing ok to pull that gtech but the question is will it take to lots of boost as well as it seems to like moderate boost.

I have $8 bucks but that's my life savings And I am starting to get the idea that a 4.8L really sucks, **** probably the one that's going to be in my RC when I get it I wonder what you could get with a 4.3L?
