woohoo, got the $150, now it is time for me to get ready. we got rid of the low end miss with the magasquirt and it is running great, we did about 20 wot 1/4 mile runs messing with the fueling and slowly turning up the boost. we were over 11psi on pump gas and no knock. there is a noticable diference in power between 9psi and 11psi.

AND we did it in the rain. 4wd kicks ***!!

Are you using the megasquirt with a 3 bar then? So you just have the megasquirt tied into the tach signal ramed up to 12v for the dquirt vs the stock 0-9v reading? Then you just have power to the MS and wired into the injectors and using MAP RPM and VE to fuel the motor? Sorry for all the questions, the megasquirt has grabbed my attention now. Its really cheap too. Are you in closed loop at WOT with a wideband or open loop like a factory PCM? Ok better stop asking questions now before I have a book on here.lol.

it has a 2.5bar sensor, ~22psi

we used a "pull up circuit" on the tach lead. the stock signal is 9v, with the mega hooked up it pulled it down to under 2v we reduced the resistance on the pull up circuit till the mega stated working and that was a little over 2v. the stock tach still didn't work though so we kept droping the resistance till we were back at a 9volt square wave signal. at that point both the mega and the stock tach worked.

we hooked in the stock tps, also a seperate IAT and coolant temp. then wired in the injectors. so far it is working well. we tried hooking up the nitrous control and so far it isn't working quite like we had hoped. we still need to do some research on that one.

Well then why don't you collect more money from these guys then? You want us to pay for your 408 too?
I wish I was a mod so I could abuse my status to beg for money...how come when parish says he'll make 400RWHP on a 4.8 it's gospel, but when Blownchevy says 400RWHP on a 5.3, it's bullshit?
If it were anyone else asking for money, everyone would laugh....oh yea

thats nice . my question here is does anyone want to see what the 4.8 can do if pushed to it's limit. i am willing to kill the 4.8 if others are willing to pay for the dyno and fuel.

seems that a few people are interested in seeing what it can do and are willing to cough up a few bucks to see it. thanks guys, this is going to be fun.

if this turns ugly posts will just get deleted.
