Default Sounds like I have a lifter taping

I have what sounds like a lifter tap on the drivers side that comes and goes, it is mainly appears after a high rpm run. The lifters are comp cam high energy lifters with a total of 3000 to 4000 miles on them. I tried some stp oil treatment and it made it a little better but it is still there. It comes and goes and is not all the time. Any thoughts?
