no the lift will!!

i am just saying a 230's cam would do wonders for your setup, personally i would talk to patrick g or someone who actually spects cams then go from there, honestly even at .646 is high lift, it would take a pretty good size stall to get into the powerband, dont get me wrong i am no way specting a cam just going by what i have ran and what has been explained to me, your power band is gonna be way up there..

on my setup i run a 232/238 612 cam adverised duration was 230/236 i needed a 4500 stall to get into the power band really quick

I know the MS3's make good power in the LS1's and they respond real well to nitrous

Magic Stick V.3 237/242 .603/.609
2300-6800 RPM Power Band with a peak around 6400rpm

Alex, personally i would talk to david on his impressions of the 224 cam he had and his new one before buying something... Also he has had several different converters with is setup to throw into the mix... Personally i like more power under the curve than peak, but that is just me, look at the baby cam i run...

Don't listen to skeet, it's not like he has the fastest n/a 6L in the world...

But seriously I'll get some dyno numbers soon, and track times sunday (prob 1/8 mile). That little 224 cam was really an awesome cam, I'm not sold on this bigger cam yet. But it was cool beating that LS1 powered IS300 down in Houston.. right alex.

Get at least a 9.5" 3600 converter, you know how mine drives...

I agree w/ Corey. These are both proven performers with 5.7's. Personally, I think you would be better off w/ a set of p'n'p 243/799 heads on a 5.7L. These heads, the Rebel cam, & a ported TBSS intake manifold would make serious HP & torque...IMHO.
