Speed Engineering Camshafts?
Is anyone running a Speed Engineering Cam? I was just checkin out what our sponsors have to offer when I came across their website. They seem to have some interesting grinds, just haven't heard too much about them. I tried doing a search both here and at LS1Tech and didn't come up with squat. Do they use their own lobes or Comp or whoever? Anybody make any power with one of their bumpsticks? Here's a link to their truck cam page:

I looked at them before and thought about it. I think its a XER lobe. I posted over on Tech and got no responses. They look interesting though. What are you thinking? 222/222?

I'm liking the 218/222 .550/.554 on a 114 for my 6.0. That's pretty much the specs I've had in mind. Cam Motion recommended a 218/218 .564/.564 114 to me, but I'm thinkin that since I'm still gonna keep the cats (high flows that come with the StainlessWorks), I might want a little more duration on the exhaust side. I plan to use a trailblazer stall with the set-up. Not lookin to go too crazy...I want great street manners and would like to see if I could just touch 13's.

That looks good Billy, I was thinking Speed Inc, not Speed Engineering I think that will work good with the TB stall. It should have good street manners. That thing better go into the 13s!

Damn, so many nice choices. Good find Billy.
I like the 218/222, or maybe the 220/224, .557/.563, 114 or 220/224, .550/.554, 115 (for future boost ) If they are a XER lobe I'd probably get one of them.
The cam Okie posted is also nice, and the Crane stuff has proven itself to me.

Yea, I was checkin out the SDPC cam that Okie posted too...looks like the Crane/Vinci "Stangbanger". There's so many choices for these engines now it'll make your head spin Not to mention, most of these companies will custom grind something for you for the same price as a shelf cam.
If you want to throw even more choices into the mix, check out what Lunati's offering for the GENIII's now...they have a whole page of em.

damn 308bucks.... I talked to nelson about some cams for my truck and asked about a 218/224 and he was iffy on that unless I had a big stall. If i go bigger, im probably gonna stick with a 216/220 or a 218ish cam since im just gonna have a 2800 stall
