I added extension pieces at both collectors and then between the x-pipe and the rear pipes. The back of the x-pipe is just touching the trans crossmember. I think a little bending of the rear exhaust hanger will solve that though. I have not driven it too much yet to notice any drone. The mufflers do take on a different tone after warming up for a few minutes.

25hdtankhauler: We haven't had any issues with 4L60E installs. The larger transmissions are the only ones. The 6 speed auto just needs to have the 90* tube extended 1", which we have already sent that to the factory. I am hoping that should be adjusted before our next batch comes in. Will see. And (stryduh) is the only one that I am aware of that has tried our system with a 4L80E.

Thanks
Sean

I installed the prototype system on my silverado that has a 4L80e swap. It fits a little snug to the trans pan but some exhaust wrap should solve any concerns there.

Any chance you would make a non polished version? Could that save some money? I'm thinking that I daily drive my truck and that a polished finish certainly isn't necessary.

When do you think the batch to clear the 6l80s will be ready?

I have a RCSB and MD requires the exhaust to go past the rear axle assy. If i purchased the extended cab version would the length be about right to clear the rear axle? Or just trim it to fit? Thanks

Ken in AZ: Thanks for the heads up.

Chevy305: We dont plan on offering them in non polished sorry. The new 90* tube "hopefully" will be in our next batch, which is probably 3-4 months out.

09CamdSilvy: I dont believe it would extend it to the rear end no. Its only about 18" longer.

Thanks
Sean

Any plans in the works for a kit that extends over the rear axle then dumps? Also, since the y-pipe is not catted i'm assuming the rear o2's would have to be disabled on our lovely computer trucks?

Yes, we do plan on offering an over the axle version. I wouldn't expect to have that available for another 10-12 months however.

Yes, the rear O2 sensors will not be needed, and will require them to be tuned out.

Thanks
Sean

Sean, for us that are ready now for LT's and just don't need stainless, how do the collectors match up to stock exhaust. I want a set that I don't have to buy a set of flex pipes are to much mod in cutting of exhaust pipe flanges to make collector connection. If I hadn't just repiped my truck I would defently go for your dual system..... Dude they are awesome .... 03 25HD 6.0 crew LB rebuild for cross country RV cruising.

And I read the 20 page discussion on sponsors cornor about the LT's and ++++++ fitments and didn't see answer to my question.
