What is it made out of? You'll need to be able to tap into it.

I am sure the idea has crossed a lot of peoples minds, but it looks like a bigger pain in the a$$ than it would be worth. First off the nozzle is designed to go through about an 1/8" thick piece of plastic. Even if you go through the thinnest part of the spacer it will still be much thicker than that so you will probably have to countersink the nozzle to get it to reach far enough into the intake tract. If you want to go the behind the throttle body route, take your spacer off and order the NOS spacer that is designed for it. I saw it in summit for around 179.00 if I'm not mistaken. Good luck whichever route you go. For the record my nozzle works fine in the plastic cold air intake tube.

That should work. I drilled a hole slightly smaller than my nozzle in my plastic tube and forced the nozzle to tap into it itself. Works ok, but my lines are pretty tight and try to turn the nozzle slightly if I'm not careful, so I think I am going to put the supplied bushing in to hold it straight.
