Default Spun cam bearing...

Hope this is in the right area...

My buddy and I, tore apart our 6.0L core engine tonight. Well we found a spun cam bearing. Obviously, cam is toast, Has anyone had this repaired oris the block junk??? I am pretty sure it can be fixed, but I have no machine shop experience.

Any help would be awsome

Thanks

I am aware of replacing the cam bearing....

My question is could the block be damaged

can you line hone the cam bore?

Do we just put new cam bearings in it and call it good???

You will be very hard pressed to find a machine shop that can do that type of repair to and engine. I know of one shop here is Reno that is making the tools to do such of a repair...
