I have the 2.5" collectors on mine, which I believe is the standard setup if you go the full y-pipe and cat route.

I have found Stainlessworks pretty willing to customize its products, so if you aren't worried about cats and y-pipe issues, it might give you more options.

I would call Stainlessworks and tell them what you are up to and see what they say.

Hi Guys

MoreGrip-glad you were happy with the headers! Let me know if you need anything.

We can offer the headers with a 3" collector and no y pipe, or a 2 1/2" collector with a catted or off road y pipe. Is there any interest in a 3" y pipe?

Thanks
Al

Judging from the quality headers I would get the y-pipe but I have dual exhaust if pacesetter doesnt get off their *** with the 4wd headers then Ill probably end up getting some with the 2.5" collectors.

The only bolt in kit with cat pipes for the Silverado SS, VHO, Denali is Dynatechs

Al,

Do you think a 408 ci motor would be to big for the 2.5" collector. If it is then i would definitely like to run the 3" collector w/Y-pipe if you guys are gonna offer it. I have a Silverado SS with the true dual till the muffler. BTW this would be with NO cats.

Al,
For the silverado SS crew, that run true duals to the mufflers, I am sure there are a bunch of people who would love to see you make a 3" set of Y-pipes.

At this point that is what is holding me up, is how to either modify my existing pipes, or buy a kit. I would rather see a 3" kit than have to modify my own. Bolt on kits are nice.

Just my $.02

How about a 99 4x4? I don't have AIR, and no longer have EGR since the 02 PCM swap.

SmithL3

Bring the truck to us and we will prototype the lead pipes on your truck. I will give you the lead pipes for free, and you buy the headers.

Or, if anyone has a Silverado SS in Cleveland, let me know. I know there is a market for this, I just need a truck for a few weeks.

Thanks
Al Noe
