Default Stall in NO overdrive

Ya i put in a tt3000 in and transgo kit in. Now i don't think it has overdrive. When driving at 65 ro 70 the rpm's are 2500 or so all the time. I put a washer in so i can feel it shift better and just seems like it goes to 3rd no 4th. I push tow/hail and it seems like that doesn't do anyting at all. Really not sure what is wrong with it. Any idea's will help thank for all the input.

If you put the overdrive servo in backwards, or put the seal in wrong, you'll lose overdrive. You might doublecheck that.

The washer you put in won't affect anything but the 1-2 shift.

Is the converter locking? You can feel it unlocked a lot more now that it is a higher stall. You can check that by LIGHTLY tapping the brake pedal while your cruising along. It should let the rpms come up just a hair. If that checks out, I would check the servos then. If the seal isn't just right on that OD servo, it won't engage 4th.

Do you have any misfires from the cam install? If the PCM sees any misfires it will keep the converter unlocked so that there isn't as much load on the vehicle in low rpms. Do a PCM reset and see how it reacts.

I think the misfires and converter unlock are close together ... not like a DTC it throws and then it won't lock it. That's where you get a lot of converter shudder/bang if you have misfires when it's locked. I've gone through that one ... it isn't pretty either.

I don't know for sure about if it throws a misfire code it not locking the converter period though ... I've made the light blink a couple of times. It have been a little honery to get locked, but it does still lock.

That might be something to look into more ....

right after my install, the tranny was stuck in 2nd gear and wouldn't go any higher. found out that a pin popped out in one of the wiring harnesses.
