For those of us not in the know - what motor did you put in? FI ?
I put in a 6.0 liter(LQ4) with the following mods....Whipple supercharger,160 t-stat,gibson headers,true dual exhaust with x-pipe and magnafows dumped before the axle,K&N FIPK,4.10 gears,eaton posi,43 pound/hr injectors,Westers PCM,Yank TT 3000 converter,LT1 fans.I think that's everything
Holy Crap.

What do you expect out of it? as far as 1/4

I wouldnt say that I defended the 4.8, but I allways said it had good potential, and was damned determined to make mine fast.But,yes...the 6.0 is TONS better.Nothing like breaking the tires loose at 15-20 mph(not stockers either..285/50/18's)
And yes,to match the power of a 5.3 or 6.0,you will spend alot more on the 4.8.

Just out of curiousity, do you think my 4l60e would hold up to a radix + full exhaust (5.3) ? It has the factory cooler if that matters...
