Default Stealth sounding/stock noise level High Flow 3" Muffler Choices?

My exhaust system merges into a 5" pipe after the collectors and then splits into 3" duals. Currently I have 2 3" inlet/outlet Magnaflows on each pipe and its still to loud for my tastes. Does a longer Magnaflow really quiet the noise level down? Mine are only like 14'' long on my current setup.

I'm just looking for choices with a close to stock noise level at idle and cruise.

I doubt there is a muffler that is as bone quiet as stock. The 22" magnaflow was a lot noiser than stock.

I doubt it too, but would like to get as close to it as I can.

When I installed my Gibson cat-back, I was amazed and disappointed at how quiet it was. It has a very large body muffler. It actually sounds pretty decent now that I no longer have tail pipes and have it dumped under the bed...might want to check them out. (for all the Gibson haters out there, I've been told more than once that Gibson used to be owned by Magnaflow and that's where their R&D came from )

My 2 14" Magnaflows = 28"s worth and aren't getting it done for me. But the FlowPro MX series looks interesting.

The Gibson Exhaust website isn't very informative. I think the straight through type muffler may not work for the sound level I'm looking for.

The Mag I had was the 28" case. It really was not quiet.

I think the best bet is to get a pull off GMT 900 muffler off a L92 engine. I believe they are 3.5" inlet.

3" SuperTurbo's are going on tomorrow. Should be a lot quieter but will probably kill some power over 4000rpms.

So I'm adding a pair of

Cutouts... I'm considering running piping from the cutout to the back bumper to keep a little of the straight exhaust noise down.

if you want quiet, run a stock HD muffler.
