Steering wheel vibrates over rough roads
I've got a 2001 silverado 4X4 extended cab with 12,000 miles on it. Going over washboard the steering wheel and dash vibrates. It seems I can almost feel every little bump in the steering wheel. Had the dealer check it out and theres nothing loose.
Do I need new shocks??
I heard it might be the intermediate steering shaft, or maybe I need a Steering stabilizer?
Also>is there any TSB's out for this problem for a 2001 model year??
Thanks, Dwayne

Re: Steering wheel vibrates over rough roads
their is a tsb for a clunk in steering wheel and you have to lube itwith a kit from gm
i have installed a steering stabalizer on my 2000
and most of the vibration went away
