Stock 1/4 time for '01 Silverado?
Does anyone know what a stock '01 4.8 singlecab\stepside runs in the 1/4? I haven't made it to the track yet and want a ballpark idea as to what I should run. Thanks in advance!

Cool, thanks for the info. Im anxious to see what it runs. I guess its not "completely" stock, I have true flowmaster dual dumps on it but thats about it. zero- ur best et is a 15.2 with 4.10s and all that stuff? seems like it should be more like high 14s.
anyway, like i said in ur other post 01chevy, it depends on if u know how to launch ur truck. if ur good ull hit mid 15s, otherwise high 15s low16s if ur bad

Maybe a lil higher depending on how high you stall it up. I ran a 15.6 with k and n and flowmaster, everything else stock (except for shorter and wider tires). I have the same setup, single cab, step side 4.8L.

Thunder - Yeah my best et was 15.2. i ran it 5 times and got a 15.2 every time, even got 2 EXACT times, so it is consistent. but i was hoping for a 14 sec slip. i got no tire spin when i launched, so traction is really not an issue. Hell I hope it has 14s in it and its just running slow cuz of the way im driving it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
