Stock 1/4 Times?
What does/should a reg. cab short bed '03 LS with the 4.8 and an auto run? Truck has a tow package, so I would assume 3.73's....anyone know stock 1/4 times?
What would same truck run in the 1/4 with a 6.0l, nice heads/cam package, and a radix @ say 12-14 psi? 3200 stall, and full exhaust?
Questions are SIMPLY out of CURIOSITY!
Thanks Guys,
Jason

well stock I am guessing mid 15's 1/4 time. also on a heads cam 6.0 you probably wont be able to get more then 8-9 psi if your lucky. but I am gueesing with the right combo easy 12 second 1/4 times. Actually you could get in to the 13 with a cam swap in the 6.0 and a stall if your putting it in the RC.

No way 15s lol. I'd say a 5.3 would run a real high 15 but not a 4.8l stock. Also depends on where you live as well. I kno in midland texas where I live. I have race some real low like 16.2 sec cars and truacks and crap. And lost. 4.8l is totally gutless off the line.

I am probably going to the track tomorrow in my 5.3 and I will get back with you. I have sen 5.3 stock rip14.8-9 and most are 15-15.2 so stock 4.8 really isnt far behind.
