Stock Cam..?
At what RPM does the stock cam in a 5.3 stop making power?
And a little
but when going 50 or 55 and step on it, not just out of overdrive, but drop a gear for passing the 4L60E in the truck jumps to about 3500rpm's, bumps, then drops to 3000rpm's and bumps again, then takes off...pretty quick interchange though between bumps....? any ideas....Thanks, just didn't want to have to post another post in drivetrain...

The cam in my LQ4, which if i remember correctly is the same as the 5.3l stock. It pulls up to 6k, but the VE table shows a quick drop in airflow above 4400 rpms. 
So its defiently a low-end cam.
