Default Stock injectors and fuel pump maxed out with on LT on my 5.3

I just talked to the tuner and he said I would need bigger injectors and bigger fuel pump and I only did Texas speed long tubes and a slp cold air, he said it makes amazing power till it gets to about 3500 rpms, he said its making 250hp and 285trq to the rear wheel, I was blown away when he said it needs more fuel, he was surprised with the power it's making, but I was just amazed that I need injectors and a pump, I never seen anywhere that anyone needed that, he said he has ls2 injectors that are brand new, and he also has a fuel pump, he said that would fix that problem, also my truck is a 2000 5.3, I just wanted to kno if anyone has had this problem when doing long tubes?

Check your fuel filter first. Could be dirty

you defanitly shouldnt be running out of fuel.
I ran my TSP 220 cam with stock injectors and fuel pump with zero problems.
I am still running my stock pump

If its a 99 with 19lb injectors I could see it. Definitely check fuel pressure though, as that can affect it. I tuned a 99 with longtubes only and it was at 105% at 5900. Never checked fuel pressure though.

Might be the fuel pump gong out or a clog in the filter. How many miles on the truck!

It's only up high that I'm running out of fuel at wide open throttle, and yes it has 19lb injectors, I'm gunna bump it up to 39lb and a new fuel pump, my truck has 91xxx miles

Kenne Bell boost a pump could be a much easier solution to your FP. I'm rocking the stock flex fuel pump on a BAP with 75# injectors.

What size are the stock 01 injectors? I have a 6.0 with 217/223 pacesetter LT's airaid intake system. Last attempted dyno tune injectors where sitting at 118% duty cycles. I already have some nnbs flex fuel injectors, which I think are 36lb, to go in.
