Default stock lift and performance

What is the purpose for having the rear 3 inches higher than the front on the stock setup. I plan on lifting the front 3" and the rear 1" will this effect performance noticably and will it level the truck.

I also plan on getting a higher stall will the stock x-mission cooler do a good job with a 3000 stall?

anybody have experience with gibsons super truck exhaust Im not happy with my 50 flow step up its not deep enough take a look at the pics I think the bend coming off the muffler might be inhibiting the sound

So the truck can provide a nice comfy ride with leaf springs, yet still be able to tow and haul. You could have it sit level, but then it would dip the rear and raise the front when you loaded it down unless you had stiffer springs which causes a harsher ride.

that is a pretty steap bend right after the muffler. try turning it down right after the muffler it will change the sound alot. mine had a similar set of bends so i turned it town and damb it sounds a lot better. you will get alot of sound back in the cab but hell i like it that away. plus it will blow the hell out of the ricers when you blow by them. me and nightmare did it to a supra at 110

Just don't do it and then try to put a turbo on the truck and launch on high boost.

Then again, it makes for one hell of a bucking ride. LOL
