Default Stripped threading on power steering pump

As title says, I stripped it, and have another 1/8th of an inch or so until the pulley is on fully. Any suggestions to get it on the rest of the way?

I have a BFH on standby if needed.

This wont damage the pump at all? My dad was helping me get it back on and said he thinks it would screw up the pump, I was all for the BFH though.

Will the puller take the pulley back off? If so, pull it back off. Heat the pulley in the oven at around 400* or with a small torch till it's good and warm. It should slide right on, but be quick cuz if your not it will stick as it cools half way on.
