Stroked 6.0 guys...Info request.
Looking for lots of detailed info about your setups. What parts did you use, what kind of CR did you shoot for, how did you get there, what was your approximate cost, how reliable is a stroker setup, what kind of mileage are you seeing, what are your track/dyno numbers, what are the limitations of pump gas on a setup like this, etc etc. Tell me all you can think of and more. Considering some options at the moment (N/A for now, turbo in the future).
TIA!!
TIA!!

Hellloooo strokers......
I talked to SDPC today and they have a 402 kit that comes with the entire bottom end including bearings and everything for $3400-3600....is that reasonable or can I do better?
Texas Speed & Performance has a whole shortblock for the same price

Is it better to piece something together or buy a package (cost wise?). I wouldn't mind building my own engine if it's cheaper.

NA now, boosted in the future. Yes, I can have both. I did some reading and I will be looking for somewhere around 9.3-9.5 CR, going to stay below 15psi so I think I can get away with it. I can put in a good reverse split cam that will do ok NA and really well with a turbo. Or I can just swap cams when it comes time to put on the turbo. That's fine too.

I'm curious why you say that. I think the cam is really the only thing that will make the difference....I can build something designed for FI and put an NA cam in it and get decent performance, then just do a cam swap when I put the turbo on it and have my "optimal" setup. Why don't you think I can do something like that?

I was thinking L92 heads, which I think would be good for NA, the CR is marginal for NA, I agree on that, but I think it would be about perfect for the boost level I'm talking about running, and the cam I can swap out when the time comes.

well, boost tends to love wide open ports on both sides. just ******* rip it open, generally speaking. NA, not so much.
You're probobly giving up a solid 40-50hp across the entire powerband with a 9:1 compression ratio instead of a 12:1 compression ratio. It extra super sucks because its free hp that doesn't make the car shake and actually improves gas milage.
9.3:1 isnt bad for boost. I tend to like compression a lot and, depending on the cam, would go up higher on a street car(truck).
