I made my own intake piping and mated it to a new style Volant enclosed box with the fender cut open to match the opening on the Volant box. Due to the differences in intake height and distance from the filter box, the bends for me would have to be custom anyway.

I would be very interested on more info on the burst disks. First I heard of them however often thought at what point will the intake fail in the event of a nitrous backfire.

Update:

Removed plugs and found 2 were melted/broken with no electrode, another was hit and got gapped to 0. Took engine to machine shop and it has one broken piston and will need a bore to make it a 408. I'm currently shopping around for pistons and would like to know who has some good deals.

I posted in your for sale thread about some that I had but I don't think with your heads they would benefit you for your target CR.

Default Update

The truck is alive again! I have driven it for 50 miles now and it is definately faster than last time. My old stall would do 2500 at wot and this one does it at half throttle . It can brake stall or flash to 3800 which will definately improve my times. I also bought 15x10 rims and 30" hoosier full slicks. Can't wait to get it retuned and hook up the Nitrous. The Fast 90 pulls alot harder but I don't have any track times yet to see just how much.
