Are you pretty much able to bolt up the sts system and drive it or is there a bunch of other crap you have to do to the truck? For now i just want something that i can buy, bolt on, and drive it, however i want to be able to modify it more in the future. Its between radix and sts. I am leaning twards the sts. Also does anyone have any ideas what times i could run as well as rough horsepower #'s 2004 GMC 1500 ecsb 5.3l 3.73 G80
Edelbrock Headers, HPP3 as well as other mods but intake and exhaust dont matter with the sts kit. Thanks for your help

Yes, you can just bolt it up and go at low boost NP. Expect around 320-350rwhp IMO on 5psi. I believe Dave at STS's Tahoe does 320rwhp on 5psi but he has no tuning other than a Superchips or like tuner.

If you felt like going crazy later then sky is the limit. Just buy a compressor that will be a happy medium for stockish power now and what you want later. GT35 might be good.

I looked at their site.. this thing just bolts up before the muffler??? route some pipes and be done with it?? Would this work with longtube headers after my Y-pipe??

Yes and no. there are some electronics and associated wiring that need to be hooked up also which seems to be the most time consuming part but still nothing really hard.

It will work with your headers and exhaust system. Simply remove your muffler and you're good to go. Jury is still out on wether or not the headers will help you at all. I was thinking of trying it out with stock manifolds so I can recoup some cash from the headers and make smog time that much easier, but I have not got that far yet.

I would put it back correct?? I think my rig would be way too loud with a muffler. I set alarms off now with me FM40 on it.

I don't think you would have the room for a full sized muffler once the turbo is on. Seems most people do bullet style mufflers to clean it up a bit.

Dave South at STS is totally stock but for the turbo kit I believe and he is in the 320rwhp range at 5psi which is pretty good considering some of the Tahoes only seem to put out 225rwhp stock. My truck at 5psi did 350rwhp.

As for your tranny? Well don't expect it to last. It may do well for a long time or you could be one of the unlucky ones who break fairly soon. If someone tells you you can add 100+rwhp and not run the risk of breaking somehting they are lying
