I just wonder why they didnt go with the 3" manderel bent for exhaust.

Have you ever thought about how small the hole exhaust has to flow through inside the turbo? It's much smaller than 2.5"

I run a 3" pipe out of the turbo and dump it out the back. I had a "Car Chemestry" 3 disk insert installed in the pipe just before it dumped. These disks were made for taking the bite out of open headers. It toned the deep sound down a lot but the turbo whine was still very loud. I finally took it out because, well I like the sound and I really dont care what other people like. If you keep it under 5 grand when pulling out of your drivway at 0530 you will probably be OK!!!

Yeah, but where's the fun in that?!? Luckily I am 6'6" and 250lbs so the neighbors think first before acting. J/K, I have the best neighbors around and try not to yank their chains.
I forgot about the Supertrapp style endcaps ( disc ). We run them on the 4 strokes when up in CO on the mountain passes and going thru Telluride. Those "hippies" out there don't appreciate the open chambers too much!

2.5 pipe yea the inside of the turbo is gonna be small but also its not about the flow really more about velocity and exhaust gases.... use to argue this with my buddy and always lost now that iv made a lile turbine engine out of a turbo i understand it better..... anyways i dont like that kit on the F-bodys..... like a big *** straw waiting for water...

About as bad as a procharger..........

Very simple to fix. Almost every mass produced FI kit on the market has something you have to alter to make perfect. This one is no different.
