i am running a stock 4l80e other than a shift kit and i dont even have a tranny cooler on there yet. so far there are no problems at all. at 500hp i could see a 4l80e lasting forever even with the extra weight.

I'm tryin mate.

Gotta lot fo work to do on it in the next week or so but I know it'll be worth the wait.

If he is running 15psi then maybe I can get away with 13 or so on race gas for track days?

that is awesom. the thing i like about the kit is well pop the hood and i dont have a turbo. the thing i dont like is the air filter placement and not having an intercooler because i would want to try 20 psi. also one other thing that scares me it the intake piping routing with my lowered truck and me driving. i think it has some advantages over traditional kits.

That is awesome news!! What size turbo did you guys go with?
What pump did you use? Did you install larger injectors? How's it feel on the street, how is lag?

I'm glad you posted this because this weekend I'll be installing on on a 03 SS Silvy and I was really hoping it would come out great. I'll choose the radix over any other charger as of now, but after this turbo install, I want to have a new favorite.
We'll also be running the alky kit, 42lbs, in line pump, and about 9-10psi. We're hoping for some low 13's with the setup.

I'll be posting vids and lots of pics when we're done.

thanks,

allen

If you aren't shooting for low 12s, its not worth doing. Low 13s can be had NA from an SS.

I think Allen is just trying to be modest so when they boost that sucker up and it runs deep 12s the customer will be overjoyed. Hehehehe

I wanted to say that but if the SS is still bone stock except for the turbo then he would need to gain 320hp or so to achieve the 600rwhp needed to propel the 5200lb beast into an 11. Unsing general automotive math here so not exact. Hehehe
