Stuck with a stock DBW throttle body... Ideas?
Alright gentleman - this will be my first of I'm sure many posts, but looking for some help here as I've somewhat hit a roadblock. Haven't yet seen a completely similar posting on here either though if I'm wrong I apologize.
Current setup:
2004 GMC Sierra Denali (quadrasteer, 6.0L LQ4)
Mods:
True dual Exhaust, gibson shorty headers
L92 heads
Cam
Valvetrain upgrades incl. springs, rods, rocker arms
Throttle body is the issue
K&N CAI
So the problem with the throttle body is the damn electronics of course. The stock setup is an 8-pin. Tried both a Nick Williams 102 DBW as well as a GM 90mm DBW made for a 2010 Camaro using an 8 to 6 adapter. Both throw TPS codes. My tuner researched pin locations within the connector and thought he could make it work, but apparently the newer throttle bodies have an inverse signal for the TPS that won't work with my older truck? I'm not quite sure what that means but am looking for someone that has experience with how to make this work, as I don't want to limit airflow to all the other mods I've already made.
So is there any aftermarket or factory DBW throttle body that I can use, or a way to modify what I currently have? Any help is much appreciated.

I run an X link and it works without any problems. If you rewire it to work it will more than likely only open 85% where if you get the X link it will open 100%.
The only other fix I believe is swapping parts from a another vehicle that uses that throttle body. Im not sure how to do this though. I would just give Dr. X the money.

Are you guys running the brass plate or aluminum plate throttle bodies? I have brass and also told that might make a difference in the event they are different internally.
