stuck water pump nut
I'm trying to do my fan swap right now and I can't get the freeking nut off the water pump. I know that it's a reverse thread. I've tried the propane wrench, the pipe wrench, and the air wrench (air chisel), and nothing. Got any ideas?

They really make a removal tool for this?

I had the same issue last week, eveyone made it seem that it was a piece of cake to remove, but it was a lot harder to remove compared to an obs one. The tool that autozone rents is just a flat bar with a square cut out to go around the nut. But that is useless when you have an adjustable wrentch to go around the nut. I decided to make a tool for it out of some 1/2" flat bar and some random fastners laying around the garage. This is what teh tool looks like it just uses two screws to go into the pully holes and secures it while you turn the wrench.
