I can NOT spin these things from a dead stop at all, even stalling the converter and launching at about 2000rpm gets me a slight chirp and plants me hard in the seat....I can brake-stall it and spin 'em but only for about 20 feet (I could spin the Goodyears all the way through second gear !!)

Take a look at the Firestone FireHawk Indy 500s. I got a set of 275/70/16s on my truck and they are nice. Only cost me 87 bucks a tire at the local firestone dealer. (got him down from 100, said i could get the cheaper online) I am in the same situation as the guy above before with the good old generals I would spin anytime i punched it then i put these on and I barely chrip then when i floor it form a dead stop. They are also the best tire I have ever had in wet weather. They just seem to stick no matter what. I a couple weeks ago was teh first time i was in the rain with them so i decided to test them out. I was doing about 60 and just slammed on the brakes and it stopped like the roads were dry. My friend was like DAMN i need to get me a set of these tires. He couldnt believe how fast i stopped and without and hydroplaining.
