With my setup I have pacesetter longtubes with their Y pipe then single 3" to a 40" magnaflow muffler (13740) and 3" single out with a 5" tip. Nice deep rumble but its not loud, even without cats.

Yes sir I would. I fully consider my friend's 6.0L to be a daily driver, since he drives it to work frequently. Just today he was at work putting 2" wheel spacers on his rear axle on both sides to even the front and rear stances out. When he finished he put it in 4wd and lit up all 4 tires in the cement garage floor. If that's not awesome power in a DD, I don't know what is. Plus it still gets about 14mpg highway. Not bad for a lifted crew cab 6.0L with goodies.

Well i'm sure about gettin long tube headers. I just would hate to have the popping when i cut my cats off. I love how the borla's sound. Not too loud but have a deep roar. Sounds great just cruising around. HPtuner for sure and LS6 intake. Just not sure about what cam yet. I have a powerdyne supercharger but i'm not putting it on. i'm selling it. i can't rebuild my motor right now cause it has 118,000 miles on it and i don't think it would handle the charger for very long.

Are you trying to go fast with this or just make it more powerful for 0-100mph use and towing applications?

i guess you would say go fast. cause i've only towed a trailer once and it wasn't that big. i haul a 4wheeler some in the bed but it's not heavy at all. i just have a lot of questions and concerns about everything cause it's my DD and doing something that would limit me driving it or tearing something up would put me in a bind. oh and i forgot the electric fans too.

Camshaft, long tube headers without cats, biggest Magnaflow muffler you can find finished off with a good tune to tune out the rear O2's and recognize the cam. That's all I'd do. I think you'll have everything you're looking for with no compromise in daily driveability. The electric fans will need to be added into the tune as well, but they're not really a performance modification. If anything, just a de-clutter of the engine bay, less fan noise and cooler A/C at idle.
