Default Suggestions on water pump replacement

Im currently getting the parts together for my 5.3 to 6.0 lq9 swap. I need a new water pump because the old one on the 6.0 was damaged in an accident.

My 5.3 water pump is fine but it has 150,000 miles on it.
Should I use the pump off the 5.3 or just get a new one?
the cheapest I have found an ACDelco replacement pump is on rockauto.com for around 165.00

Should I get the new pump just to be safe? I would assume yes but with my current budget i want to make sure its the right choice.

Also, should I stick with the ACDelco brand or are there cheaper remanufactured/aftermarket pumps that are known to be just as reliable?

I didn't realize that you could get a water pump for our trucks for less than $300...at $165 for a Delco unit, I'd go with that

Cool, im gonna go ahead and order it. I also ordered a cam gasket kit from SDC.com and a oil pan gasket because the pan thats on it now was cracked from setting it on the ground at the salvage yard so im gonna take the oil pan off the 5.3 and put it on. anything else I should consider buying before I start the swap?

Oil, filter, coolant, maybe exhaust manifold gaskets...I'd do intake gaskets, but the word is that they're re-usable, and they're fairly pricey for just gaskets I believe. Don't forget beer

cool. Im getting all the parts together within the next week. Last thing I have to decide is on a cam. I have the XR265HR low lift cam that I bought for the 5.3 but never installed. I think im going to sell it and go with the vinci trucker (216/224 .551/ .551 115) camshaft for my new LQ9 6.0, any thoughts on this cam with my setup?

I got a new bosch replacement pump for under 100. I think it was like 70 from some random part seller on amazon.

I think my stocker still works. It was just the gaskets leaking, but it has 180k miles on it.

It's 75 with free shipping at amazon still. Search for Bosch 99169. I'm sure it's a chinese copy like most parts.
