Default Summit Racing brand exhaust

I was wondering if anyone has ever used the Summit Racing brand exhaust? My plan was to get it and install it on my truck then if I didn't like the sound of the 'turbo' muffler swap it for a magnaflow muffler. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris

They have it listed for a long bed. I think when they are saying short bed they are meaning as in crew cab short bed. But I sent them a e-mail asking for a part number for the RCSB exhaust. I'll post up the results on Monday when they respond.

My buddy bought one for his dodge ram and the muffler brand is IMCO the mandrel bends are nice and the exhaust note don't sound to bad for a dodge.

Got it on my 06 RCSB.They only have the one for the long bed RC.I ordered it and put it on in about 2 hours by my self.I had to cut some off the head pipe before the muffler and some off the tail pipe before the 90* elbow behind the back tire. All in all I like the system the bends are nice it is not loud at all,for the price you can't hardly turn it down.I am in the process right now of putting a 3" cutout ahead of the muffler-in case I want more sound.

You don't happen to know how much you cut off in each spot?

I just measured them

1)12" off the head pipe
2)1.5" off the end of the over the axle pipe(I did this to keep it the stock distance from the tire)
3)5.5" off the 90* tail pipe(pipe stuck out past the tire)
