Default Supercharged guys in here...please

here sthe deal..my truck '01 HD 8.1 with Whipple, have had the charger for over a year now with ZERO problems..Whipple electronics and all..today I took it out and everything is fine just cruzin along...but when I roll into it she almost sound like its sputtering a bit..can feel some surging..watched my boost and it seemed to be constant...no codes thrown..no code from the Whipple FMU...almost feels like the belts slipping, does this sound right? Its the only thing that I can seem to come up with..you guys have any ideas..TIA

If your boost was constant, your belt was probably not slipping. Slipping belt would cause spikes in boost or low overall boost.

Probably KR with it heating up like it is now you may be feeling the engine pull some timing.

It's in the upper 80's up there right now.

Guys this is not intercooled, but its not the temps. Truck has run flawlessly in the heat all last year and this year so far..I have done nothing to it.. its not KR, I guess I'll have to take a better look at my gauge and make sure its not spiking..it really feels like a slipping belt though...looks like its time to sweat it out a bust out the wrenches to tighten it up abit.

Can you see any belt residue (black powder) by any of the pulleys? Also, try revving the motor in park and have someone see if the belt slips. We were in the 90's on the east coast in NJ so I'm sure CT was not much cooler.

mine does **** like this all the time. very unpredictable. i swear it's possessed. it may be the weather, who knows. it's been so f'n humid up here in new england.

well I'm going to say its the belt...some black residue on the snout of the Whipple...might as well change to a different pulley while I'm under the hood.
