I had a powerdyne, with a 9psi pulley on one of the older BD-11's for 2 years and never broke a belt. It worked great all of the time. It definately won't make as much power as the other blowers that you could get would, but you will still gain a bunch. I would say count on 65-75 hp over stock. I always hit full boost by about 3k rpm also. I think that powerdyne blowers are good bang for the buck, easy install, and a good all around product, but if I get another blower it is definately going to be one that will produce more power.

If youre on a budget, skip the centrifugal. The power doesnt come on like you think especially without a stall. Have you called sponsers?? Whipple and Vortech are very near each other in terms of price and the sponsers can give you BIG discounts over the phone.
If I was on a budget... ****, if I wouldve known then what I know now Id have gotten heads, cam, and stall. Thats BIG power! Theres a guy selling a stage 2 heads and cam package NEW in the classifieds for $1350. Im sure you could find a 3000-3800 stall in there for $400.
Im just finishing collecting/ installing more crap so I can run 12# b/c the 7# I see now feels like nothing!! Im also getting a cam b/c Im so slow!!
To be happy with a blower you will need tuning, injectors, more boost, and some sort of intercooling at least.
Do more research, you will be so much happier if you do.

That is just the way that it worked on my truck. You have to realize that at higher RPM's the motor is also using more air, so there will be a point where boost will stop going up even though RPM's do. Or at least that is what I figured. Not to mention, the powerdyne doesn't flow as much air as other centrifugals so maybe The engine was just using whatever extra air the blower could throw at it at the higher rpms. It was a 96 5.7 vortec just so you know.
