Sounds like Whipple and KB don't want GM owners money that bad. FK em. FKem all.

I know I'd go Radix now. Maybe I should cash out that life insurance policy my grandparents had on me. If only they came up with something better than their gay Superchips Programmer.

first of all, thanks for all the replies

B. what about paxton and vortech.

lastly, i was looking at the procharger setup on T Byrne's website and the air filter location seemed a bit odd to me, like it wasn't in the best location in the engine bay to receive cold air.......

So if you have a 4l80E in your truck then you don't have to worry about trans problems. You already have the big trans so throw a radix on it and be gone!!!

the centrafugral chargers have been brought up, i think they are the worst choice for blowers. they have a lag till you are up in the rpms and they have the belt drag. sure they may make more top end HP then the radix but the only way that will make you faster is if you have a stall in the 3500-4000range and they wont be near the fun to drive everyday.

if your really looking for an all out drag truck then it might be worth looking at since it has more overall potential but only if you get the bigger blower, work out the belt slip issues and run a high stall.

i vote for the radix too. only other options would be the upcoming turbo set up's but i i doubt that they will be as clean or simple or plug and play like the radix.

Centrifugal doesn't get spun up to work until the 4000-7000 rpm range. For a drag truck, they're great. I live in the real world of a daily driver, however, 1500-3500 rpms most all the time. I would never realize the benefit of a centrifugal, it would be a total waste of money. Right now with my Radix I'm at a stop light and it turns green and I'm GONE BROTHA!!!

What are you doing surfing up old posts when you have parts to install? I'm going to start comparing you to 1slow01z71 if you keep this up!
