Question supercharger and meth kit ?

Well I just got my side mount magnacharger in today and I'm trying to find out where I can buy a smaller pulley from becaues I would like to run 8# and if I do this will I have to buy a new belt? Also has any one done methanol injection systems or fmic on this kit or one like it. From the way that it bolts up I think that I'm going to do the meth kit but I would rather do Fmic but it look like it would but very hard to do. I'm also trying to find out if a meth kit would mess up a nitrous shot. I know I 'm going to put nitrous on it one day but it will be after a cam, spring and a stall. I just don't want to buy the wrong stuff and have to do it over.

I just installed the side mount and it looks like a pain to install a IC. Meth looks like the best choice ror that set-up. BTW, where in San Marcos are you, I am going to Texas State next semester.

go with the meth. You can do a intercooler down the road if you want to figure it out.

Nope, its either the wrong program or a messed up sensor (or so I think). I will (hopefully) find out for sure when I go to get it dyno tuned.

check ebay. the HU for our kits is the eaton M90, there are usually smaller pulley's on there. I have heard that you dont really want to go smaller than a 3" pulley though.

It come with 3" I think thats right? and have you ever heard of any one running a smaller pulley on this kit I know that if you don't have any way to cool the air you shoulden't run over 5 or 6 pound of boost but I thought that if I did the meth kit that I would be able to run 7 to 8 pis? But I don't know a hole lot about this kit and how it's set up compared to the new ones. what do you think?

Cool

Do you have a boost gauge? You should get an accurate reading of what your charger is putting out now before you do anything else. A Fuel Pressure gauge would be good so you know that you are getting enough fuel. You may want to go to larger injectors and an aftermarket fuel pump if you are running any more than about 5 psi of boost. A good tune will also be required if you are running any more than 5 psi of boost. Did you charger come with a proper tune for it?

You may want to upgrade your tranny with a shift kit and servos as well before you start looking for more boost. If you already have a 3" pulley you may already be into higher boost but a 3" pulley may be stock for a 6.0, not sure about that.

Have fun with it FI rocks.
