Supercharger...Need Help
Ok, Ok i know everyone says get the radix. I would like to hear input on the other superchargers though. Particularly Kenne Bell.is anyone running powerdyne or vortec? Opinions needed please. I just want to hear everyones opinion or personal experience with any of the super chargers.
Any ideas what i might see horsepower wise?
Currently-5.3 Edelbrock headers, flowmaster true duals (40 series mufflers) LS6 valve springs and retainers. K&N FIPK,HPP3 Hopfully next a supercharger.

I have a powerdyne. I bought it cuz the price was only $2200 brand new. where a radix is over twice that. Its not really what I had expected power wise, cuz it is a centrifical type. But i am planning on getting a 9 psi pulley for it in the near future along with injectors, nelson tune, cam, and lots of transmission mods. My guess is that I should be running at least mid 13's.

if you want the most complete package the radix is the way to go. the price is higher but once you get the other superchargers and buy everything that is needed the prices are much closer in comparison.

My powerdyne kit came with everthing I needed. Just had to modify their belt tensioner they sent. It wouldn't tighten the belt enough. The belt they sent with the kit was also cheap and would slip at wide open throttle. So I got a Goodyear Gatorback belt and took care of the problem. Belt cost me around $35.00. Thats the only thing I had to get extra.

Kenne Bell's are comparable to the Magnas, I've tuned and driven both and they are really similar. If you're looking at a centrifugal, it's all about price. Powerdyne if you're on a tight budget, Vortech or ATI if you've got a little more cash to throw around.
