Default Swap 4.3L with 6.0L

I see here that there are quite a few fellas that have successfully completed the 4.3L to 6.0L swap.

I'm am wondering from your experiences...

To you, was it worth the hassle?

What other components will also need to be swapped?

Is there a place around Abilene/San Angelo, TX that could help me out?

What kind of money will be involved, both in parts and labor if I chose to have it done?

Edit: Forgot to mention I have an 02 Silverado.

Thanks in advance guys...
Brandon

I know a guy here in San Angelo that had a 6.0 for sale for $800, not sure if he still has it around though.

Thanks Nightmare, with my luck, I probably want to get me a beater before I start ripping into my truck. Eventually though... I'll be seriously looking. That is.. unless I total the truck first. I hit a deer a few weeks ago and it's still in the body shop.

I know what you mean, my truck is about to go to the shop for hail damage. I know what you mean about the beater thing, I just got a bike to save gas and to have something else to get me around while working on the truck. Let me know if you ever want to upgrade, I might be able to find a motor local and would be able to help out with the swap.

Sweet bro, thanks. I'm one of those dudes who probably wouldn't know what to do first. If I'm in the area (if/when I get down to it) I'll look you up.
