swap 5.3L to 6.0L

IF you're a mechanic you should be able to look at each engine (assuming you have both of them) and see right away that the blocks are exactly the same. The only difference is the bore/stroke. The 60 bolts up but run an 80 if you have one.

There was a difference in an earlier version of the 6.0 having a longer crank so you would need to post the year of the 6.0 and what it came out of to have someone tell you on that.

I have the dimensions and all the differences in front of me I know the only differance is the bore from 95 to 101 roughly and the stroke is the same at 92 mm 3.622 in. I just wanted to get advice from someone has done the swap before to make sure I can swap it out within a week with little to no problems, like wireing harnesses, the intake plenum, and etc. programming computer is no problem, truck is a everyday truck i use for work. thanks let me know...

If you're swapping just the short block, then it will fit w/o any problem unless you end up with an early LQ4 with the longer crank as stated previously. You should be able to run it with the computer tune you have now, provided it is tuned correctly for your current set-up, but it won't be optimal until it's retuned.
