Swap LS1 intake to LS2 intake and 90MM cable TB worth it?
Trying to figure out if this is worth messing with or If I'm re inventing the wheel
2002 sonoma with a lq4 6.0. and running a stock LS1 intake and stock LS1 TB.
Bout to swap in a TSP 228R cam and a circle D 3200 stall I have a LS2 intake and rails laying around that is left over from another vehicular abortion that never saw the light of day. Kicking around using a scoggin dickey 90 MM cable throttle body to make life easier. For a NA motor that is not raced and street driven only is it worth the effort to go to the 90 MM LS2 parts?
I also found a adapter that lets you put 78 MM ls TB onto a LS2 intake but that seems really counter productive. Thoughts ideas on this one?
Or should I just hunt down a LS6 intake throw it on and call it a day.

The LS2 manifold is not really that good, it flows a little better than the LS1, but not as good as the LS6. There is also the hassle with the TB. If I were you, I'd go the LS6 manifold route and maybe just port out the stock TB. The F-Body LS1 guys claim the LS6 manifold is good for up to 10 hp over the LS1 manifold.
