swap recommendations

There are a ton of H1’s with a 6.0. I’m helping a buddy out now with one. Main thing is what year is the H1? There are several power/trans combos. The easiest to swap into is the newer trucks with a turbo 6.5 and a 4l80. The older H1’s had a 3 speed first then got a 4 speed and finally the 4l80. I’m going to supercharge one truck and leave the other N/A for a farm tow rigg. There are parts everywhere for them if you start looking. I’ve found a ton of swap brackets and harnesses that make it easy. My vote is a 6.0 with a blower.
I don’t live very far from Ft Bragg so these things are everywhere around here right now. My buddy bought the first one for 9k and it runs perfectly. The next one he bought was a newer one with a 4l80 and I think he got it for 15k. It’s crazy how cheap they auction for.
